A Fall Family Session in Joplin, MO with Peak Fall Foliage for 2025

Fall lovers, it has arrived! Perfect fall foliage is here. Run don't walk to see the most beautiful fall foliage. I can't wait to share this beautiful fall family session in Joplin, MO. We timed this just right and caught that peak foliage for 2025.

You want me to pick a favorite from this session? Nope, I just can't. I'm sharing just a few of the ones I love, but this photo session was full of so much beauty and fun. I just can't wait for this family to see their full gallery. This family of 5 met up with me on a weekday late afternoon, that's dedication to fall photos. As the sun sets earlier, it means evening photos sessions are pushed to afternoon so we squeezed this shoot in after school and it worked perfectly.


The family did a wonderful job pulling their outfits together. They have a beautiful color palette that stands out against the foliage. The blue in their outfits is complementary to the orange leaves, and complementary colors is one of my favorite suggestions when planning outfits. They also incorporated textures into their wardrobe, which adds interest to photos. From texture in fabrics to the texture in the ruffle on mom's dress, it's all the small details that will really make your photos pop.


To top it off, we really had fun at their session. This little fam was excited for their session and the kids can ready to smile and even brought their own ideas for poses. I hope you enjoy all these memories together. Here are a few favorites for now:
